Your Guide to a Sports Bra That Stays Put
It's easy for one great activewear piece to impress. The real test is whether that performance carries across the collection.
That was exactly what Katy Koval of That Fit Friend set out to find when she tested the BRXL Seamless Scoop Ribbed Sports Bra.
This wasn’t Katy’s first experience with BRXL. After previously putting our leggings through real workouts and daily wear, she came back to test another category: A seamless sports bra designed to balance support, comfort, and everyday versatility.
Her conclusion? BRXL’s performance wasn’t limited to one standout product.
“It’s one thing for a brand to get one product right, but consistency across categories is what really matters.”
After putting the bra through lifting, conditioning, interval work, yoga, Pilates, pickleball, bike rides, and everyday wear, Katy gave it a 4.4/5 overall rating.
Here’s what stood out:

Built for More Than One Workout
Katy’s testing went well beyond a quick try-on.
She wore the BRXL Seamless Sports Bra through everything from deadlifts and thrusters to sled pushes, jump rope, yoga, Pilates, and everyday activities. What she found was a bra that could move with her through the day without requiring constant adjustment.
For strength training and HIIT, the bra earned a 9.5/10. It stayed in place through overhead movements and high-rep conditioning without creating an overly compressed feeling.
For yoga, Pilates, and lower-impact training, it scored even higher at 9.6/10, thanks to its light-to-medium support and secure fit.
And when the workout was over, the bra continued to function as an everyday staple.
Katy described it as a piece she could wear “from the gym, to pickleball, to coffee.”
The Fit Is Designed to Move With You
The BRXL Seamless Sports Bra combines a scoop neckline, adjustable straps, ribbed knit construction, and removable padding for a fit that feels supportive without looking overly technical. For Katy, who typically wears a 32/34B and tested a size small, the fit was true to size.
She found the bra snug without feeling restrictive, while the padding provided subtle structure and lift without adding unnecessary bulk.
The adjustable straps also gave her more control over the fit, making it easier to fine-tune the bra for different activities and wear.

Where It Shines Most
Not every sports bra needs to do everything.
Katy found the BRXL Seamless Scoop Ribbed Sports Bra particularly strong in the spaces between performance and lifestyle.
For strength training:
The bra stayed secure through deadlifts, thrusters, kettlebell swings, and sled pushes.
For yoga and Pilates:
The light-to-medium support provided enough security for controlled movement while keeping the overall fit comfortable.
For everyday wear:
The clean silhouette and scoop neckline made it easy to wear on its own or layer under other pieces.
For lower-impact activities:
Bike rides, pickleball, and interval work all fell comfortably within its range.
It earned an 8.6/10 for running and jumping, capable of handling short runs and interval work, though Katy recommends more structured options for high-impact or long-distance running.
Comfort That Holds Up
One of the details Katy specifically called out was the removable padding.
After 10+ washes, she found that the pads maintained their shape with minimal movement or warping. That matters because a sports bra that looks good on day one isn’t necessarily one that stays easy to wear after repeated use.
The ribbed construction also gives the bra its distinctive texture while providing stretch and structure, without relying on heavy seams.
Katy’s assessment was straightforward: The bras were super comfortable and held up well through regular use and delivered solid durability for the price.
The Honest Take
Katy’s review wasn’t without reservations.
The thinner straps can be a little difficult to adjust, and the lower-cut neckline may not provide enough coverage or support for everyone, particularly those with larger C or D+ cup sizes.
It also isn’t designed to replace a high-impact running bra.
But those limitations are part of what makes the review useful. Rather than positioning the BRXL Seamless Scoop Ribbed Sports Bra as a one-bra-fits-all solution, Katy found its strength in versatility, plus its light to medium support, everyday comfort, strength training, and lower-impact movement.

A Second Test. A Bigger Takeaway.
Katy’s first experience with BRXL gave her a reason to come back.
This time, she was looking at something bigger than a single product. Could the same standard of fit, function, and everyday wearability carry from leggings into another category?
Her review suggests it can.
The BRXL Seamless Scoop Ribbed Sports Bra earned a 4.4/5 overall rating, with standout scores for versatility, durability, and performance across strength training, low-impact workouts, and everyday wear.
For us, that matters more than getting one product right.
Because BRXL isn’t built around a single hero piece. We’re building an activewear collection where the same focus on fit, function, comfort, and real-life wear carries from one category to the next.
And when a reviewer comes back to test the next product, that’s the standard we want to keep proving.
